Many of you autocrossing guys have competed on courses set up in parking lots - so can appriciate this one. I work for a company that has a hugh parking lot and I get to work at 6:30 AM each day. At that time in the morning the lot is empty. There a numerous light post islands and it makes for a great start to the day when I run my own invitational autocross.
The other day, unbeknowst to me, the VP of sales had come in early and had a front row seat to what I can only desribe as a magic moment between man and machine. Later that day I was called down to HR where a junior manager questioned me about the incident. I confessed and he informed me that if this ever happened again I might have to park the car off campus. He asked for a response. I told him I'd start coming in at 6:00 AM.
