NHRA funny car champion, John Force, was injured in his Castrol GTX funny car. Tremendous crash at over 300 mph, also involving Kenny Bernstein.
John was airlifted to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for broken bones in his legs.
Bernstein was OK.
