Corvette a highlight in branding research

Not surprisingly, research to determine a brand for Warren County tourism showed that a major point of distinction for Bowling Green is its connection with the Corvette.

The research was completed even before the Jan. 13 unveiling of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. While the unveiling was in Detroit, it still drew attention to Bowling Green as the only place for production of the vehicle.

And that prominence could be even more elevated after the announcement this week that General Motors will bring its Performance Build Center for hand-built Corvette engines to the Bowling Green Assembly Plant.
