The CT Military Corvette club (CMCC) is preparing for its 3rd season of All Corvette Cruise Nights. These events will be held every Wednesday night starting on May14 through Sept. 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Hooters in Manchester, 1471 Pleasant Valley Road.

CMCC is made up of all prior or current military members. The club currently has 33 members and 36 Corvettes. The club raises monies to help state organizations that assist our Ct Veterans. Causes that have benefited: Wounded Warriors Project-CT, Purple Heart Homes (Manchester and Canton projects), South Park Inn in Hartford, USMC SGT Greg Caron Benefit, CT National Guard Foundation, CT-PGA Folds of Honor Foundation and the New Britain Veteran's Concert.

The cruise nights feature trophies, driver's gift, 50/50, DJ, "Feed the Bear" donations and a swap and sell table. Theme nights and technical sessions are also conducted.

New this year is "Corvette's Fighting Cancer" part of Berlin's Relay for Life to be held on May 17 registration start at 2 p.m. and special Corvette lap at 4 p.m., located at the Berlin Lion's Fair Grounds, 440 Beckley Road, a $10 donation.
