An 87-year-old man who was given an honorary ride around the Texas Motor Speedway to reward him for years of generosity as a blood donor was killed when the car he was riding in crashed. His dream was do 100 mph in a Corvette around the racetrack.<br /><br />Fred Krusemark of Dallas, a World War II Navy veteran, was being honored on Saturday by Carter BloodCare for years of making blood donations. The Corvette crashed and Krusemark died of blunt force trauma to the head and neck, the Denton County Medical Examiner's Office said.<br /><br />Video: WFAA TV
