I have owned three Corvettes, an '84 and two '89s.
The '84 was original with a 700R4 auto trans.
The first '89 I bought in Cleveland,Ohio, and drove it home to Houston, 1400 miles. A six speed car, it got 32 mpg on the trip.
Next was my desire car, a red convertable. It was a basket case from Arizona, where it sat outdoors for four years with top down. Everything was ruined but the engine. I redid everything and now it's like new. I love it!
