Pursuit of C7 Corvette Stolen From Culver City Ends in Standoff in Riverside, California

From NBC Channel 4 – Southern California:

Police were in pursuit of a stolen white Corvette in Riverside after it was taken from a dealership in Culver City on Monday night, according to the Culver City Police Department.

The driver, wearing a blue baseball cap, was accused of stealing the white Corvette Stingray from a dealership in the 6100 block of Slauson Avenue.

An employee at the dealership was hurt when the driver allegedly slammed the employee’s hand in the door as he stole the sports car, according to Culver City police.

The Corvette had paper license plates, and was traveling on the 10 Freeway before the driver made his way to Riverside.

The pursuit ended in a standoff in Riverside, and the driver was taken into custody.
