SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – A suspect is in custody after leading police on a high-speed chase through the Northwest side on Sunday. Police said the suspect was being pursued for an unknown reason in Kendall County. The Kendall County Police lost him. Soon after, the call came into SAPD about a red Corvette that was stolen at gunpoint. An SAPD trooper spotted the car and a high-speed chase ensued before the suspect, who was traveling down Grissom Road, crashed into a black Lexus and a white Mustang. The suspect fled into a creek behind a nearby Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Restaurant, where he was spotted by the police chopper and apprehended. After a search, the police found guns in the trunk of the Corvette. The suspect is being charged with evading arrest and numerous other charges. No word on his identity or if there were any injuries due to the accident.
