1997 began the first model year of the fifth generation Corvette, and Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles is back to detail all the improvements in the C5. The fifth generation had a larger amount of trunk space, moved the transmission to the rear and raised the rear for better aerodynamics. This Corvette also featured better technology like the head-up display and run-flat tires on all models, making it the best Corvette to date.
