Classic Corvette Catches Fire in Encino California

LOS ANGELES, CA — A vintage Chevrolet Corvette went up in flames on Sunday.
Video sent by R.G. Lowell to ABC7 using #abc7eyewitness showed the red Corvette burning as people looked on.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department said the fire happened in the 17000 block of West Magnolia Boulevard near Amestoy Avenue at about 10:40am.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and were able to extinguish the blaze.
ABC7 car specialist Dave Kunz said the Corvette appeared to be a model year between 1958 and 1962.
According to Hagerty, the car could be worth upwards of $100,000.
Fire officials said no one was injured during the fire.
